NDIS Social Work – Capacity Building Support
Delivered by our Accredited Mental Health Social Worker (AMHSW), we offer NDIS-funded capacity building supports that assist participants to build the emotional, social, and practical skills needed to live more independently and enhance their overall wellbeing. Supports are tailored to individual goals, combining therapeutic insight with hands-on, outcome-focused assistance.
What We offer:
Support is available across areas such as housing access and tenancy maintenance, emotional regulation, interpersonal relationships, daily living skills, and community participation. This includes help with securing or sustaining housing, navigating complex service systems, managing mental health and wellbeing, improving communication, and developing routines for day-to-day life. Sessions may involve counselling, coaching, advocacy, or practical problem-solving – depending on what’s most appropriate.
Flexible delivery:
Appointments are offered in my consulting room in Port Adelaide or via home visits, depending on what is most suitable for the participant.
Why it works:
Participants benefit from increased confidence, greater housing stability, stronger community connections, and improved ability to manage daily challenges. The approach is grounded, person-centred, and designed to equip individuals with practical strategies for sustainable progress.
